Warranty & RMA Policy
·
All
Hardware carries a Manufacturer's warranty; it will vary depending on
the item.
·
In most
instances (depending on the Manufacturer), an RMA can be sent directly
to the manufacturer.
·
All
warranty's beyond 30 days will be handled by purchaser and Manufacturer
directly. Except for the the products not listed in the Manufacturers'
RMA page; they will be processed through Emericom.
·
Warranty
is void if labor warranty sticker is removed, broken or appears to have
been tampered with.
·
No
warranty for physically damaged or visibly abused items. (Cracks, burn
marks etc...)
·
All
Warranty's void without original "dated" receipt.
·
All
Warranties are in reference to hardware only. Emericom accepts no
liability for any hardware or software not installed by Emericom. We do
not support software, you must contact the software company for support.
Payment
·
We accept
Visa, MasterCard, PayPal.
·
BidPay,
and Discover.
·
If legal
action is necessary to collect any sums due hereunder, buyer agrees to
pay all costs of collection, including court cost and seller's attorney
fees so incurred.
·
If tax
exempt, buyer will provide a Tax Exemption Certificate in form and
substance satisfactory to the relevant taxing authorities.
RMA Policy
·
Prior to shipment!!
An RMA Number must be obtained from the RMA
department. (Good for 14 days).
·
Please
complete and Submit the RMA Form via our web page. Include a copy of
the receipt and mark the outside with the RMA Number.
·
RMA items
must be in original condition, with "ALL" original hardware, original
packing, manuals, and software, etc or will be refused.
·
The items
warranted must be received by our RMA department before the last day of
the warranty period for warranty replacement.
·
If a
replacement is not available, we reserve the right to replace with
similar products of equal or greater value based on our purchase costs.
We also the reserve the right to repair any defective product.
·
Returned
Products found to be non-defective are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
(Reason) Emericom incurs up to a 4% charge by credit agencies on all
credit purchase's, and an ADDITIONAL 4% on any returned credited
transaction and the labor, shipping expenses depreciation & supplies are
lost!!
·
All RMA
items must be shipped freight pre-paid by the customer.
·
NOTE: the
customer is expected to insure all items being shipped to Emericom..
·
Emericom is not responsible for any losses or damages of aforementioned
equipment.
·
Exchanges
or replacements will be shipped back to customer via ground delivery.
·
Express
return shipping is available but will be at additional costs to the
customer.
Refunds
·
All
refunds or credits will be returned in the manner in which they were
paid, minus any restocking fees, if applicable. All cash transactions
will be returned in the form of a company check. If the purchase is via
on line, will not refund the cost of handling and shipping. There will
be no refund after 14 days of purchase, exchange for same product only.
PLEASE NOTE:
Emericom is a WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTOR that sells products at an extremely
low markup with the understanding that customers purchasing our products
have a great deal of knowledge and know something about the products
that are being purchased. Our target market is resellers, consultants
and people who have an ample amount of computer and Electronics
knowledge and know how to build systems and install a variety of
components.
RMA = Return
Merchandise Authorization
RMA RETURN NOTICE:
Due to RMA returns sent back as defective and ending up being perfectly
fine (Approx 90%) Emericom will be charging a testing Labor Bench fee
of $35.00 + Return Shipping fees on all items determined to be
Non-Defective. Emericom is not responsible for incompatibilities with
items not purchased from Emericom. Physical damaged products will not
be accepted as an RMA under any circumstances.

Send email to
RMA@emericom.com An RMA number will be issued within 48 hours or you
will be notified to return the item to the original manufacturer for
replacement via email.
